Frank and the Platinum Preservation team were fantastic. The quality of the comprehensive work was really high, and Frank really takes pride in what his team is responsible for. He has a great eye for detail and takes real pride in doing things properly.

I was abroad for a lot of the work, so communication was really important, and Frank was excellent at keeping me updated and looking after the house while I was away. That made a huge difference.

He also went above and beyond on a number of things that arose during the course of the work, which I really appreciated. I can only give Frank and the team the highest recommendation. Very skilled, reliable and trustworthy, and I’d happily use Platinum Preservation again.

I couldn't be happier with the work Frank carried out in my mother Rosaleen’s
home. He completed a damp proof course to a very high standard and was professional, knowledgeable, and reliable throughout the entire process.
Frank took the time to explain everything clearly, arrived when he said he would, and left the work area clean and tidy each day. The quality of workmanship was excellent, and it's clear he takes great pride in what he does.
I would highly recommend Frank to anyone needing damp proofing work done.

Frank did an excellent job at fixing lots of persistent damp issues at my house.
Frank and the guys were really good at what they did and tidied up really well. Also educated me along the way about why the damp issues were occurring. Very thorough job and really happy with it. Hopefully this is the last of the damp I see

PS - I only have the after videos but it show the work and the detail

We recently asked Frank to survey an area of our home after noticing a significant damp problem in the living room. He quickly identified that the issue was likely caused by water entering through the chimney during the prolonged period of heavy rain, and he confirmed this by finding moisture inside the chimney breast in the attic.
Although the repair work required was outside his own scope, Frank immediately recommended a suitable specialist and contacted them on our behalf. We really appreciated his honesty—he didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work or suggest invasive measures like removing plaster when they weren’t needed.
While inspecting the attic, Frank also spotted signs of woodworm and promised to return in a week or so to treat the affected area. True to his word, he came back today and completed the spray treatment.
Frank has been reliable, straightforward, and genuinely decent throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. Thank you, Frank.

I contacted Frank off the back of the glowing reviews on Google and he didn’t disappoint. I’d initially asked him to come take a look at the property for woodworm, but during his callout he also took a look at the damp proofing. Frank explained everything throughly and was able to give me a few pointers to improve the water tightness of the property. Frank also remarked that he wouldn’t want to spray timbers/use insecticides unnecessarily – they don’t call him the Robin Hood of preservation for no good reason!
