I contacted Platinum Preservation NI to request a quote for damp and timber survey as part of house buying process. Frank was quick to response and gave a reasonable quote. He then did the survey and gave me a very detailed report and honest advices on the situation of the house. I am highly appreciated his honesty and straightfoward answers as a first time buyer! I've just used the services of platinum preservation for the second time and I couldn't recommend them more. Frank is an absolute star. He made time for us in a busy schedule to help with an urgent worry even though it was the first time we’d contacted him. He spent time talking to us and examining the house in detail to understand the issue. Frank recently did a damp and timber survey on a property I was in the process of buying, which turned up significant issues. He explained everything to me in a clear way and made himself very available for any questions I had. Honestly can't recommend Frank enough. He came out very quickly to look over a house we had just moved in to, he was extremely thorough and talked me through everything he was doing and was very clear and honest about what would need done and has followed up with me since. Frank and his team were amazing to work with from start to finish. Frank attended my property very promptly are first making contact via phone. He completed a full, thorough investigation of the house and talked me through all the work that was to be completed going forward and made sure I was happy with all the details before proceeding. Frank spoke to both my neighbours to make them aware of the works being carried out, noise and placing askip out the front on the street. All the works were carriwd out to the highest of standards and I was always updated as well as calling at the property to see the progress made. No job was too big or small, and Frank always made sure that I was happy and content with everything from start to finish. Frank and his team went above and beyond to help in anyway they could which always took the pressure and stress out of dealing with certain situations like moving furniture and laying down my new wooden floors once all works had been completed. Had a property survey carrier out by Frank before I purchased my property. He was a gentleman to work with and goes into great depth in his surveys to ensure he finds the real source. When buying my house recently I had a standard survey done by a damp specialist which showed some 'rising damp' needing fixed in the report. My vendor had engaged Frank for a second opinion and after speaking to Frank I was very confident he could resolve the issues. It was rainwater issues, not rising damp. Frank called out to my property and after inspecting the property he suggested a soak-away be installed to resolve the water damage to the ground brickworks. After the install it looks great and gives me confidence that the rainwater will not damage the brickwork anymore. There was other plasterboard interior work required and Frank managed it all with the tradesmen .. plasterer, plumber, etc .. timings / contact was great.

Frank came out to my house last week and looked at some damp. He came up with a plan on how to sort it and was honest, punctual and kept me informed of when he would be coming. Couldn't ask for any more.
