The short answer: A damp survey is a detailed inspection of a property to find where damp is coming from and what, if anything, needs doing. You receive a clear written report with conclusions and recommendations.

What we check

  • Walls, floors and ceilings inside the property
  • Gutters, downpipes, render and brickwork outside
  • Ventilation and signs of condensation
  • Damp that may be hidden behind stud walls or flooring

What you receive

A clear report explaining the cause of any damp or timber defects, our recommendations, and a guidance quotation for any work required. Surveys are carried out by a PCA-trained surveyor.

Who it is for

Home buyers, landlords, tenants and homeowners across Belfast and Northern Ireland.
